ARE YOUR CATTLE 100% GRASS FED?
*No. As calves the cattle are fed conventionally with a light barley ration but fattened and finished for the last several months on grasses & hay. The cattle in this program live the majority of their lives on pasture.
DO THE CATTLE RECEIVE ANY ADDED GROWTH HORMONES OR ANTIBIOTICS?
*No. Everything we offer you is free of added growth hormones or unneeded antibiotics, however we do treat everything that is in pain or discomfort and will not leave an animal to suffer on account of keeping our herd antibiotic -free. Anything that needs treatment will be moved out of our direct marketing program and will enter one of our other herds.
IS ROUTE 304 BEEF A LEAN MEAT?
*Yes. Take into consideration that a leaner less fatty meat will overcook sooner then conventionally raised beef with more fat. There is seldom anything to pour off of our ground beef which people love!

*Route 304 beef is considered healthier then traditional conventionally raised beef from the store as it is less fatty due to more grass then grain in their diet. Pasture raised beef is higher in beta-carotene, vitamin E, B, thiamine, calcium. magnesium, and potassium as well as omega-3s. There are many benefits to consuming pasture raised meats.
HOW SOON CAN I PICK UP MY MEAT AFTER ORDERING THROUGH THE WEBSITE?
*You will receive an email from us as soon as your order is packed. After you have received that email, you are free to come pick up your order from the farm. Generally this is with in a day or two sometimes sooner. If you want your meat immediately, contact us for arrangements and we will do our best to have it ready for you.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I'M UNABLE TO PICK UP MY ORDER FROM ONE OF THE DROP OFF POINTS AT THE SCHEDULED TIME?
*Please contact us asap if you are unable able to pick up your purchase at the scheduled time. We will either reschedule a drop off or refund you, which ever your prefer.
IS THE MEAT GOVERNMENT INSPECTED?
*Yes. Everything we sell was processed at a licensed and inspected facility with high standards in all the areas that are so important to us!
CAN I PURCHASE ROUTE 304 BEEF OR CHICKEN FRESH RATHER THEN FROZEN?
*To preserve it's freshness, all our meat is frozen immediately after packaging.
