Our pasture raised heifers, chickens, and pigs do not receive any added growth hormones.

Route 304 Cattle Co. BEEF does not have any added preservatives such as sodium nitrite or potassium nitrite like most meat from the supermarket.

We do not give unnecessary antibiotics to our animals, however, caring for our animals and treating them humanely is of utmost importance to us and therefore we will always treat an animal that requires our help.

All our beef is dry aged for 21 days, a rarity these days. Unlike store bought beef which is often ‘wet aged’ for a day or two, our lengthy aging process draws moisture out of the beef making it more flavourful, tender and succulent.

Our beef is raised on pasture and fattened on grass and hay unlike conventional supermarket beef which is fattened on grains.

Our animals are treated with respect and their welfare is preeminent.

Our pastured poultry is raised antibiotic free, however it is our standard to treat any animal in pain or discomfort. Only healthy animals are selected for butchering.

Currently all our products are Gluten Free.
