Baked Pepperoni & Cheese Sticks

...perfect for school lunches, after school snacks, after-a-cattle-drive-snack, or anytime really! I like to make a huge batch and freeze them for a quick snack with some marinara sauce! This recipe is great if you order our jerky & beef stick package (hint!* there’s a saving if you buy the package deal rather then individual packages!!) Just specify that you want at least 2 of the 3 packages of beef sticks to be pepperoni and your set! (We don’t recommend this recipe if your using honey garlic beef sticks.)

Directions

EASY BAKED PEPPERONI CHEESE STICKS

Ingredients:

•2 packages Route 304 Cattle Co. Pepperoni Sticks (12 sticks)

•1 can Pillsbury pizza dough (for the sake of convenience, I use pillsbury pizza dough but you can use your own homemade dough if you wish)

•Cheddar Cheese 400 grams, cut into 24 slices

Instructions:

Roll out can of dough lengthwise on the counter. Cut into 12 equal strips the short way. Take 2 slices of cheese & a pepperoni stick and wrap one strip of dough tightly around the cheese and the pepperoni.

Continue till all strips of dough are wrapped around the cheese and sticks. Bake on a greased cookie sheet for about 17 mins or until tops are brown but not over done. Brush with a little melted butter and enjoy hot off the pan with some marinara sauce for dipping or allow to cool completely and freeze for a quick snack at a later date!
