We’re back in your inbox!! After a jam-packed summer/fall…Slightly exhausted from the farmers market season, but so inspired by the support of everyone throughout the season. Btw- “Airdrie people!!”, “We’ll be at the Town & Country Centre for the December Christmas market on the 3rd! We’re discontinuing the popular Route 304 Family package & a few of our other packages. New ones are coming!! We’re changing our program somewhat to keep ground beef, stew, smokies, tenderloins steaks, burgers, jerky, sticks, salami, & summer sausage & soup bones around regularly but less steaks, roasts and special cuts. Now that you’ve tried our beef and love the Route 304 Family Package etc, consider trying a 1/4, 1/2 or even a whole beef and enjoy not only the savings but also the convenience of all that beef at your fingertips! **Get on our list for spring orders now while 2022 pricing is still available!(This year we ran out of heifers and ordering ahead really helps us out so we know how many we need to fill your orders. ROUTE 304 STROMBOLI  Dough:

2 cups warm water

1 1/2 Tbsp instant yeast

1 Tbsp salt

2 Tbsp sugar

1 tsp garlic plus

3 1/2- 4 cups flour

Mix together, adding flour until dough is soft. Divide dough in half and let sit for 15-20 min.  Roll dough out on floured surface. Roll into 2 rectangles approx. 18inx13in. Spread mustard over the dough. Drizzle honey over mustard. Place filling ingredients down the center of the long side of the rectangle. mustardhoney

Shredded cheddar cheeseFold up dough by pulling each long side up and over the filling. Seal ends by tucking bottom layer over filling and tuck top layer under loaf. Brush top of loaf with a little oil. Sprinkle more garlic plus over all, and garnish with any fresh herbs. 

Bake at 375*F for 25-30 min. until its nice & brown on top. Remove from oven and let sit 10 min before slicing.

Serve warm with marinara sauce or cheese sauce.
