We charge $7.75 /lb on the hanging weight. The hanging weight is usually around 330 lbs for half a beef (give or take a few pounds). You will end up with about 70% of the hanging weight in cut and wrapped meat. To break it down a bit-

 $7.75 x 330lbs (hanging weight) = $2557.50 approximately

What you will get is approximately 231 pounds of cut and vacuum packed meat.

 Please keep in mind these figures are approximate since each animal will vary slightly in size.

 LIVER, KIDNEY, HEART, OXTAIL, TONGUE ADD ON $45

 You will have the opportunity to choose all the cuts you want, your favorite steaks, roasts, ribs, and lean ground beef!  We take your order, give it to our butcher, and contact you when it’s ready for pickup at our farm or delivery! Your beef will be frozen when you receive it.

Many folks ask- how much freezer space do i need to store 1/2 a beef? We always recommend at least 7 cubic feet. Typically you will receive 4 large boxes.  

**A non-refundable down payment of $200 via credit card though our website is required up front and the remainder in the form of E-TRANSFER OR CASH ONLY. (The credit card companies take SO much.)

**PLEASE NOTE- Your special requests such as things not already listed on the cutting order form, are not guaranteed. We act as the person between the butcher and you as our customer, and will do our best to ensure your satisfied with your order, although some special requests are not feasible for our butcher. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
